5. Concept & Requirements Definition 5-1

The Concept & Requirements Definition (CRD) Stage of the Acquisition Management System (AMS) process begins with:

  • Contacting ANG-C1 for guidance and establishing a Preliminary FAA HF Coordinator

The Preliminary FAA HFC then either completes the following activities or, for larger project, manages their completion by a HF Coordinator working for a vendor supporting CRD: 

  • Conduct HF assessments to support refinement of operational shortfalls and concepts
  • Conduct HF assessments to support development of solutions and requirements
