6. Investment Analysis 6-3

The IA tab of the HF AMS Lifecycle Checklist indicates a number of HF questions that should be addressed as part of the IA stage. Examples include

  • Have the human factors implications of each alternative been determined for their impact on cost, benefits, schedule, and technical risks?
  • Do cost, schedule, and performance baselines reflect the detail necessary to cause the identification or resolution of human-system performance issues/risks?
  • Does the Implementation Planning and Strategy Document reflect the recommended approach to manage the HF program for the project?
  • Has the information from the HF assessment been incorporated in the Business Case and IA decision?
