SASP - Activities. HF tasks completed during SASP include:
- P. 4-3: Appointing a Preliminary FAA Human Factors Coordinator (FAA HFC) (for large projects)
- P. 4-4: Developing performance measures
- P. 4-5: Providing input to Preliminary Shortfall Report
- P. 4-6: Identifying human performance improvement opportunities
- P. 4-7: Defining proposed changes in the operational concept
- P. 4-8: Providing inputs to the Operational Capability Business Case
- P. 4-9: Providing inputs to Acquisition Program Baseline (APB)
- P. 4-10: Providing inputs to Preliminary Program Requirements Document (pPRD)
The HF analyses may include consideration of factors such as workflow, usability, procedures, equipment, workload/staffing, human errors and operational suitability. It can include consideration of both the materiel (e.g., equipment) and non-material (e.g., procedures) aspects of needs, shortfalls, and operational concepts. Some of this content may be supported by the transfer package from prior Research for Service Analysis.
